Nice, I feel like some parts are loud and some of the bass are panned a bit.
What plugins (synths, effects) and sample packs you used in this song?

FelixZophar responds:

I used Sytrus, Cymatics sample packs, and some sounds I made.

Ah, yes! Miniature Fantasy. This was used to be one of my favorite songs when I first heard this in Platform Racing 2. Tho, I don't have a favorite song anymore, was this made in FL or Cubase? I'm curious. I can tell that you used those female choirs from a soundfont or a plugin/vst.
My only problem is that the drop at 03:10 had some clippings and the quality is VERY low. The entire song's mastering/mixing is a bit loud as well.
Other than that. it's still a great song. What plugins and samples you used for this btw?

Stroberider responds:

Man, this over two decades since I created this; I honestly don't remember and do not have the original file. I know for a fact I created this in Cubase VST 4.0, which offered Logic-style Folder Tracks, a Marker Track, basic customization interface options including Window Sets, groove template creation and a variety of smaller tweaks including the introduction of 24-bit recording. As far as the VSTs, I'd honestly be guessing at this point because it was years ago, since I produced this. But, I fondly remember the choir samples were from both UltraPitch and East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Choirs. The synth samples ranged from the EVP88 Electric Piano with some simple filtering, EQing, and reverb within ES P on the resonance and frequency to give it that Alice Deejay Better Off Alone synth sample to Embracer, which was used for those warm pads you hear in the background. And, the acid 303 synth you hear in the beginning and throughout the track was created with the TR 808 SH 101 and TB 303 ACID. The rest is honestly a blur. This was ripped from the vinyl version I had pressed years ago, so the quality transferring over isn't the best, not to mention that I produced this track over two decades ago, so it's not going to sound as clear as the tracks nowadays. Hope this answered your questions. Thanks for the great score and review, RoblesK!
